I ordered only the sample of Actifyeye and Face cream and I checked my accounts thru Wells Fargo and found two things the above items on my account for $89.77 and $89.71. I did not authorize these items, I just wanted the samples, which you sent a few days ago and did not order these items. I am 80 years old on Social Security with a husband that is dying and I cannot believe I was not notified that you were billing me for the above items. I was just trying out the samples and I did not receive any notice of the above going on my account. So disappointed as I’ve watched the Home program on TV and really thought this was strange. Perhaps you or I misunderstood, so please do not bill my account again. Thank you, Dorothy Zachman, Henderson, NV

    1. This is a rip off product, trying to cancel order they will leave you on hold 10 minutes, ships from California but phone number says east coast hours. Very sleepy company. DON’T GET ANY THING FROM THIS COMPANY!! And product doesn’t work.

This is a SCAM and so disappointing to so many. People struggle in the economy these days and to have this done to them SUCKS. Please help spread the word this company totally SCAMS people.

  5. Rebecca Martin says:

This is a rip-off!! You sign up for a FREE TRIAL, but if you don’t cancel it within 14 days you are charged $89.71.
No where on the web-site did I see you had to cancel within 14 days!! I called on the 15th day, and was under the impression I would be reimbursed. The girl did not tell me my $89.71 was not refundable. Instead she tried to talk me into continuing the product for 50% off!! It wasn’t until I called 5 days later that I was informed there were NO REFUNDS!!
    This is NOT right!!

  6. Lk Harrison says:

Beware, this free trial is a big scam. I am so disappointed in Joanna Gaines. She is not what you see on TV.

SCAM SCAM SCAM cancelled after 13 days and was still charged 189.00 RUDE customer service. FALSE advertising. Crap cream….How do they get away with this????

    1. Get a hold of the consumer affairs Department and the Better Business Bureau and threatened to file a class action lawsuit watch how fast things start happening and people start listening to you.

      1. Rip off scam and total junk, tell every one you know.

      2. Teenie says:

I’m all for contacting someone who will listen. I didn’t authorize them to continue and take money from my account. It made me short and I couldn’t make my car payment. They are making millions scamming people and it needs to STOP.

  9. Kimberly Journell says:

I did receive this product including the vitamin c serum for $45.60. Called in to cancel auto refill only a few days after receiving the product and was verbally told it was cancelled. However, a month later I received the refills and was charged 89.77 and 89.71 (179.48) without my consent. I contacted customer service again and cancelled via the automated system, again. Then I contacted customer service to return the product for a refund at which they refused stating “no refunds”. After lengthy conversations they still refused stating I had to provide proof of my previous cancellation. They said they were going to send me two more free products but who knows..and thinking I should change my card number pronto. Beware, the product introductory offers, seems they always bite you back.

I have used the product and like it but it is well overpriced.

  10. C.E. says:

BEWARE !!!!!!!!! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Not a FREE TRIAL. I was also charged $89.71. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Donna vetter says:

Re: lunidaire eye serum, eye cream and face cream

I took a chance and I should know better!! Your creams don’t work for me. It breaks my face out. That is why I don’t opt to buy without trying.

  14. Pamela Lakowske says:

This is a scam!!! Buyer beware and watch your automatic withdrawals in your checking account. I had previously cancelled product. It was sent anyway and account zapped $89.00. They will not accept returns or refund your money!!

  15. Elisa M says:

THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH, you sign up for a trail that is to cost you a minimal amount and they send you full bottles and charge you $95 dollars. I tried to call their customer service to get a refund and after waiting 4 minutes the line disconnected without anyone answering the phone. I am calling the Better Business Bureau to report this as it is not okay that they are stealing with people under a false pretense.

    1. E. Jaeger says:

Lumidaire’s deceitful tactic of not clearly stating that one will be placed on an automatic shipping list and charged exorbitant prices for a tablespoon worth of product when placing an order for a free trial is clearly unethical. The terms and conditions seem to be purposely hidden away from the ordering site.
I have reported Lumidaire to the BBB and have contacted the fraud squad in my state of Arizona.
You can do the same by contacting the Attorney General of your state to inform them of Lumidaire’s underhanded ordering practice.
      E. Jaeger

    2. Elisa, did you call the BBB? I was just about to and wanted to see if anyone else had.

    3. Teenie says:

I’ll back you up. This just happened to me. They charged me twice $89.90 and when I called they refused to refund my account which caused me to be short and I couldn’t pay my other bills. They were hateful and rude and I offered to send the product back bacause I never used it. She told me they would charge me $9.00 a bottle and would still not refund my account. This is so wrong and apparently has happened to many others.

  16. Stacey olia says:

I was charged nearly $400 from July 10,2017 thru August 8,2017, I just so happen to check if a payment cleared and found the charges..I never even received the product. I called the company to advise of the issue and Carl the supervisor basically told me he has tracking numbers and I received the product. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING !! I told him Carl I was calling my bank Carl then proceeded to harass me by calling me 3 times I was terrified! The bank reversed the charges and are investigating. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM THIEVES LIARS HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Now I have to change all my bill pay services . Hopefully these FILTHY PREDATORS WILL BE SHUT DOWN

  17. This is a scam
ordered a free sample got billed would not take back
    a royal rip-off
Joanna Gaines has nothing to do with this,

  18. You use same before and after models as Kathy Lee Gifford What’s up with THAT?

  20. Charlene Dail says:

I agree with everyone else. Ordered a trial offer and the was charged 89.00 twice. This is such a rip off. How do they get away with this? I am also on social security. Live and learn.

  21. This company should be reported for theft!!! Everyone has same issue but they’re getting away with it??? Customer service is bad!! Bish told me I must’ve forgotten that I signed electronic signature authorizing them to charge me?? Never knew that or a 14 day trial?? RIP off, need a class action lawsuit against them!!

  22. R A West says:

I just wanted the samples, supposedly $4.95 or something like that. Then I get a charge for $89.71 a recurring charge. I called my CC co. and together we called there customer service and they would only give me a %75 refund, saying I checked the box, they knowing I had no way to dispute this, so I was forced to take it. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  23. Charlene says:

Don’t buy or use this cream. You look for ingredients on the jar you get and there is nonever listed. This is such a scam.stay away from this company.

  24. Svitlana Kapitsya says:

    Hello this message is from
Svitlana Kapitsya. I got Lumidaire Anti-Aging Face Cream Trial and Lumidaire Anti-Aging Eye Serum, the
Cream is very good, but for my skin is very strong, because my skin is very sensitive, and became red after used the cream. Thank you for allow me part of this test.
good luck and all the best.

  25. Chris C says:

I fell victim to the sane scam. This company uses false advertisement, Joanna Gaines never endorsed their products. I never authorized them to continue to send monthly shipments & charge my charge account. They claim it’s all listed when the order is placed….where?….is it so small a person with perfect vision would need a magnifying glass? And why would I want a shipment sent 15 days after my “free, full size” products were sent. And don’t get me started about their “return policy” on unopened products…oh that’s right, there is none. And to top it off their products are terrible! At least my CS rep Michael, was calm, cool & collected while I very angerly expressed my displeasure. We all know word of mouth can be your best referral or your worst enemy so let everyone you know what a scam this company is. And maybe we take it to higher powers, BBB, local tv channels, etc.

  26. I was on the verge of requesting the product free sample, but something struck me odd right when I was getting ready to put in my credit card number. I went on to read the terms & agreements portion throughly because I experienced companies crediting your account once they get your credit card number.
What was odd nowhere did they mention the monthly cost. I did not want to signup not knowing the monthly cost. I ran across this Lumidaire “comment” section, and I read all the negative comments.
After reading all of the negative comments, I will not get this product. Too many red flags.

  27. Do not fall for this like I did, and obviously many others as well. Not only do you pay the 3.95 and 4.95 for the shipping, but they also charged me 34.71 for something I didn’t order (but they sent anyway) and on top of it, no mention of cancelling or a number to call to do so and then my card was charged 89.77 and 89.71. So so so disappointed in myself for falling for this. Decided to have my card blocked and a new one issued just to be sure they don’t charge anything else. I spoke with CS Rep Michael and my “accounts” were cancelled according to the email I received, but with that kind of shady way to do biz, I don’t trust them and hope nobody else will either. Very unhappy. >:{

  28. Lili Wang says:

I ordered only the sample of Eye Serum and Face cream and I checked my accounts thru Citi Bank and found two things the above items on my account for $89.77 and $89.71. I did not authorize these items, I just wanted the samples, which you sent a few days ago and did not order these items. I cannot believe I was not notified that you were billing me for the above items. I was just trying out the samples and I did not receive any notice of the above going on my account. So disappointed, so please do not bill my account again. How do they get away with this????

    Lili Wang -PA

  29. Sandra Steck says:

Now the phone number s no good SCAM

  30. Has anyone tried to file this “company” to the better bureau of investigation? Agree with EVERYTHING below it is not stated ANYWHERE upon ordering the “free” sample that you will be charged two payments of 89$, I also did not authorize this and when calling the customer service line they were not helpful and just sounded like a robot reading off a scripted message over and over. Horrible service, biggest scam I’ve ever come entounter with I can not believe they are still a running business with the money they are charging to people by tricking them to this fake free trial. Nearly $200 gone and I did NOT agree to this, there is no confirmation sent to you for your subscription that you “signed up” for. Where can we report this company asap??!

  31. Mary Cuevas says:

This company is a fraud. They scam you to the max- steal your money cause it says free trial and then bill you almost $190.00 without letting you know and when you call they basically say it was your fault because you didn’t cancel. Never did they inform you that you needed to cancel ahead. DO NOT order from this company – lying, stealing, scam company. Yes we ALL need to know where we can report this company so they can go out of business and not steal from others! Does anyone know the address where we can report them? At least let us all report this cheating company on social media and to our friends/family so NO ONe will order from them. IT IS A SCAM!

  32. SCAM!!!! Do not order this product. These people are rude and ruthless. Advertise it as a free sample with you only paying for the shipping. It isn’t free unless you call and cancel it within 14 days. Once you order and get it in the mail, you have lost about 7 days.

  33. George Z says:

It means those phony people on Shark Tank must be bunch of scamers, don’t belevie what they say.

  34. joyce mc neary says:

This company is nothing but a scam. I NEVER DID ORDER A PRODUCT THAT COST $89.71 TWICE I only ordered the trial offer of $4.95. Only when I called my bank re another matter was I made aware of these of these two charges. When I called the company they told me I had placed an order on September 17th for these product – a whole bunch of liars. I asked for a copy of my order only to be told they were unable to provide one, So i then asked for a copy of the email they claimed they had sent me confirming the order but they would not provide this either. So I then asked where their corporate office was located and to please give me their phone no. but I was told they couldn’t provide that either. The reviews on these scam artists are horrible – is there any way we can all get together and sue them. I don’t know where to start or to call but if there is someone out there who knows how to pursue this and get rid of these ripoff liars, please let’s all get together and hopefully we’ll put them out of business.

  35. Linda C Garcia says:

    I REFUSE TO PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!@

  36. Beware this it a bunch of scammers. They will send the free sample and only charge for shipping. Then, suddenly you are a member and after 14 days you must pay for the products $90. Then you get the products every month for $90 and shipping. There is no warning of the charges, there is no email telling you your trial period is up and there is no way to overcome payments even when you follow the representatives instructions. I have never seen such a cleverly constructed scam to market a product that actually does not work well and caused reactions for me.

  37. Ngan T Nguyen says:

  38. Mary Sweatman says:

I didn’t ask for more so why did you take my money out of my acct. I will be at bank this morning to get my money back. Crooks

  39. Judy Burkhart says:

I also ordered 1 of the trial size and I received one in the mail today I am returning this, and there better not be any more charges on my credit card! I am a business owner and I’m going to fight back! Judy B

  40. Antonette hendrix says:

The same thing happened to me and I was charged 160.00 that I did not authorize. They are a scam and ripping people off. I reported them to BBB and to my bank. There are enough complaints on this site for a lawsuit and I hope someone will sue the Company.

  41. Joyanne says:

I too got ripped off and charged the 89.71 and 89.77. When I called to complain to the Lumdaire people they said it was to late t o cancel my account which I didn’t know I had an account. They asked if I wanted 2 more free samples and I said no. I cancelled my credit card as I don’t know if they will charge again. I can’t believe I am paying 179.48 for 1 ounce of face stuff. Horrible. I see some of you are in my age bracket and on SS too. Sorry you got scammed too.

  42. Scam scam scam charged me 3 charges!!!!

  43. Rodna C King says:

I received a package of Lumidaire Skin Cream and Eye Cream that I did not order…do not want it…will not pay for it. Therefore, how can I return this?

  44. Scam company – do not avail of the free trial – they sneakily sign you up for other products without your consent and charge you shipping. I called and cancelled membership (which I never agreed to in the order either) so hopefully they will not charge my card for the order. Won’t refund the shipping fees for the product I did not order. I reported them to the California attorney general and the Oregon attorney general. Horrible company…they should be shut down and out of business ASAP

  45. This is a scam also taking account, only signed up for free trial, and walla every month they charge me, DID U SEE THE SIZE OF IT

  46. Laura C Ralphs says:

“Ditto” to all of the above comments. This company is a Scam. I have continued to place an announcement on my Facebook Page to all Friends and Family, to warn them of this outrage. You cannot believe the amount of responses I have received thanking me for forewarning my Facebook group, They have taken my message and shared it with their FB groups. My credit card company has put a hold on the charges, hopefully it will help.

  47. Katheryn Pratt says:

advertisement was for free trial on face cream brand name FEMORA. Only had to pay shipping. Did not know about them charging $89.77 after the 14 day trial period and monthly after that. Called number on my credit card statement and they would not budge on returning the money but said they would graciously wave the $24.99 cancellation fee. WHAT? Nothing came in the box, not receipt, no notice of trial period. No email was received (Although they ask for it when you purchase) Nothing with the terms and conditions. In researching this for my mother I found a website advertising the product and had to scroll a lengthy advertisement to find a “terms and conditions” in fine print where it’s all stated. I do not know if this was in the original purchase. But again, nothing in the box and no email. Even after talking to them and canceling order and requesting an email we received nothing. This is a SCAM! They just want your money and are very deceptive to get it. Cream does not work by the way and burns the skin. Had to ask on the phone the name of the company. Name was not anywhere to be found.

  48. Christine says:

I ordered the free product. I paid for the shipping and never received it in the first place. The customer service rep was extremely rude and kept telling that it was delivered. When I kept telling her that I live I am apt and never got them, it did not seem to matter. Ugh!!! This is a scam and they do not refund for anything. The one CS I got said she could refund of 25% (like $44) out of $180. They are so full of crap. All they want is $$

  49. Brenda Merritt says:

They are a rip off company. If you order you better read the fine print or within 14 days you’ll be charged for 89.00 twice. When I called she supposedly cancelled my subscription but said she could only refund 35% of the fees. Merriy friggin Christmas. This is a piece of shit company
